Polluting and the requirement to clean up pollution is reported almost daily in the news. While the right to pollute has been enjoyed by agriculture and business since the beginning of the industrial age, the issues are becoming more urgent every day.
More than 300 sites in California have been cited by the EPA as in need of correction, and more issues surface each day.
To date, most Phyto Remediation projects have been performed as studies by university researchers; now it is time to begin the business of environmental cleanup. As you can see in the map below, California is falling behind in the implementation of this innovative technique that can be used to help clean up our enviroment.
